Money it is not but accuracy and perfection is my goal..

I have been doing shloka lessons with kids between 5-11 years till this day…It’s just been a month since I started off and I have close to 22 kids learning with me…..A lot of parents are sure curious and want their kids to learn up the entire material in just a span of a few days…

I would like to be clear here:

a). We are dealing with kids who are still in a stage where they are learning the alphabets…So expecting them to learn a 6-8 line shloka in one hour is very very challenging.

b). For me, it’s not the MONEY which matters …its the accuracy and perfect pronunciation in learning shlokas which is important.I could just finish up the entire material in a few classes….but what is it that I have imparted… Am I being justified as a TEACHER is my question…

c). There is NO RACING in my class…..If for eg: I have 8 kids in a batch my aim is to help all the 8 kids learn whatever I teach in that class…no matter the age (i.e its not easy to bring a 5-year-old kid to a level of an 11-year-old…but my aim is to help the 5-year-old kid to learn before he/she leaves the class)

d). Dear Parents -here it’s not how many lines or shlokas the kids have learned in each class….but how well they have learned the shlokas which are of paramount importance…

e). So let us give our little ones sufficient time to learn all that they are learning-SANSKRIT is new to them. We really need to understand that a child can grasp only to a particular extent in one hour…considering their restlessness, impatience and distractions!

What finally matters is HOW WELL THE CHILD CAN CHANT A PARTICULAR SHLOKA TAUGHT TO HIM/HER and NOT HOW MANY SHLOKAS THE CHILD HAS LEARNT…..

We all need to be patient here…Kids after all!
