Friday, 24th August 2018 is celebrated as VaraMahalakshmi habba throughout the world. It happens to be my favourite festival as I get to do some beautiful alankaaram to my Goddess Lakshmi. This year I will be celebrating this festival with my family back in the US, but I definitely will miss the temple visit, home hopping for Vettalai-Pakku and other celebrations back in India.
